MAXCARE: HOW IT WORKS
MaxCare is designed to provide peace of mind to vehicle owners by protecting them from unexpected repair costs and ensuring that their vehicle is always in good working condition.

The MaxCare process generally follows these steps:
Bring us your vehicle : If your vehicle needs repairs or maintenance services that are covered by your MaxCare plan,set up an appointment and bring your car in. MaxCare works with a network of certified mechanics and repair shops, so you can be sure that the repairs will be done correctly.
File a claim: Once you've brought your vehicle to our repair facility, with your permission we will diagnose your vehicle and we can file a claim with MaxCare.
MaxCare approves the claim: MaxCare will review your claim and determine whether the repairs or maintenance services are covered by your plan. If the claim is approved, MaxCare will authorize our repair facility to proceed with the repairs.
Pay the deductible: Depending on the terms of your MaxCare plan, you may be required to pay a deductible for each repair or maintenance service. The amount of the deductible will depend on the specific terms of your plan.
Get your vehicle repaired: Once the claim is approved, the authorized repair facility will proceed with the repairs. MaxCare will cover the cost of the repairs, minus any deductible that you are responsible for.
Pick up your vehicle: Once the repairs are completed, you can pick up your vehicle from the authorized repair facility.
MaxCare offers a rental car policy as part of its extended warranty plans. If your vehicle is in the shop for covered repairs, MaxCare will reimburse you for the cost of a rental car up to the daily limit specified in your plan.
The specific terms of the rental car reimbursement policy will depend on the MaxCare plan that you have purchased. In general, the policy will cover the cost of a rental car for a specified number of days, up to a specified daily limit. The daily limit will vary depending on the plan you choose, but typically ranges from $30 to $50 per day.
To qualify for rental car reimbursement, your vehicle must be in the shop for covered repairs for a minimum number of hours, as specified in your plan. You'll also need to provide documentation such as rental car receipts and repair orders in order to be reimbursed.
